It was a great time had by all!! Congrats to all the winners!!! Thanks to John Varner for a great tournment (yet again), Moes Tackle, Shut Up & Fish, RHSA and all of those who entered and/or helped out with this tournament. I want to thank my tournament partner, Gene "Champion Fish" Reeves, for being not only a fishing buddy, but a close friend, who I learn from both on and off the water. And lastly, I want to thank our wives , Jeanie and Rhadonna, for helping with the huge undertaking of serving lunch for 60+ people. Gene and I are lucky to have wives like you and yes, we will be fishing the tourny next year Tight lines everyone!!!

It was another great tournement, Varner has it down to a science now. The food was great and the company wasn't too bad either. Thanks to Mike Oser, aka SuperDuck, Moe for including me on his team, we will out fun ya.

BTW Nitro and Gene set a record for out kicking their coverage.

Little late posting since I have family in town! In fact they fished with us on Aaron's boat yesterday. My brother in law Steve and nephews Sam and Kal have had a blast here. My sister Julie is a Doctor and is speaking at a convention so she missed yesterday's fun. As Dave mentioned (And I posted a picture with Aaron's kids) I set it up to go out in the Texas Shark Car/Boat Friday at 5. Terry (Blue Tuna), Dave, Aaron and family and my brother were all there watching and taking pictures of the Shark Car. Have to tell you how serious we fishermen are. I set it up with Harbor Bay for Dave to keep his boat there overnight. Dave was planning to sleep on his boat overnight! I said no way you can stay at my house. So we put the boat up went to Snuffer's and then watched the Rangers on my balcony and watched boats coming and going. Was a lot of fun. So glad I called Keith! We saw those guys on the lake yesterday and all we could hear was laughter! That's the only way to fish! RHSA hats off to JV! Every year it just gets better and better. Also special thanks to Joe at Harbor Bay for all their help. Joe is a good friend and we've been talking about the tournament for the past two months!

Thanks to Gene and crew for the great lunch and set up! Also thanks to Blue Tuna who skipped the fishing to help JV out. Finally looking forward to the guide trip we purchased with JV. I don't think we will get skunked! BTW JV it's Terry, Roy and I going I hope that is ok. The biggest winner I think is RHSA! This money puts us over the top and now we can buy the fish and make a film of the day they release them! I've been in touch with a reporter and hopefully we can get some good press on the event. To JV, Jackson, Todd, Terry, Moe, and anyone and everyone who was a part of RHSA, the tournament, we have a great group of guys and gals here! Couldn't be prouder to work alongside everyone making things happen. Some people talk we are all "doers." Looking forward to the next event which right now looks to be a "seafood" event at my dock. Steve Parker will be grilling fish for those out there watching their figures! Just have to say we are all truly blessed! P.S I'm pretty sure we can use our club house next year and so on. That was a nice fit for afterwards....

Wow what a great tournament. I have fished a many tournament through out my life. Used to be on the green trash fish tour. I only started fishing for white bass 3 years ago. This is surely different, (fishing along side one another) that would have been a cardinal sin in those other tournaments. I had Mark and April in the boat with me and we had a blast, just did not find that big one! The group of people in the RHSA are some of the best people on the planet. I am proud to be a member and have such wonderful friends. I am looking forward to our next event to meet more folks.

Thanks to everyone that had a part in putting this tournament on. Great event! I just started fishing Hubbard a few months ago and I think you guys are really on to something good with RHSA. Glad to say I went home with a handfull of RHSA stickers and an awesome new t-shirt. Carson- good to meet you and have a quick chat.

No arguements from Gene & I. We know we lucked out

I have been fishing Hubbard for 40 years and just started Hybrid/Sandbass fishing the last 10 years. Luckily I found the TFF and that is truly when fishing really become fun!! Now with the RHSA it is like a brotherhood and the enjoyment has tripled. I have buddies that live and fish other lakes that wish they had just a small part of what we have going on.

John what can I say, every year your tournament gets better and better. The camaraderie and fellowship that occurs every year is priceless. Thanks for all your hard work as tournament director, I am proud to count you as one of my good friends and fishing mentors. Thanks dude.

For the guys that could not make the tournament you really missed a great event. Great prizes from Moe's tackle, Shut up and Fish, Grayline bait tanks, guide services donated from Joe Read at Tawakoni, John Varner and Paul Rogers from our home lake, wave spin reels, drift socks from Jeff Craft, and tons of other tackle and fishing equipment from other company's. Luckily my wife out bid me for Joe Reads guide trip, get ready Joe we are coming!!!

Thank you Terry and Frank for arranging the community center and for working out the arrangements with Harbor Bay marina.

Team Nitro of whom I am very proud to be a part of did a great job at lunch yesterday. Our wives Jeanie and Rhodonna stepped up and made it happened. Last year when John Nitro and I told Varner we would cover lunch and make it happen in the back if our minds we knew these 2 ladies were going to play a big part and they did!! Yes Fastguy John and I definitely married UP!! Nitro again it was awesome being your partner again this year even though we dud not fish, I am lucky to be able to call you one of my good friends and I can't wait till next year. By the way our wives after cooking yesterday said that next year we were DEFINITELY FISHING!!!

Congratulations to all of the winners and everyone that took home prizes. The RHSA salutes every man and woman that took part in this event and we hope to see everyone back next year for another great tournament.

Although I did not fish I did catch the weigh in, a great lunch from Team Nitro (loved the beans) the auction was fun and visiting with such a great group.

Forgot one important comment. Congratulations to the winners! Especially to the youth division winner. We need our youth to take up fishing and replenish the ranks so to speak. We caught a mess of fish and about five big ones. But we weren't about to pool them. I'm too honest. I would have flunked a lie detector test in a New York minute! We had a blast though and my family from out of town takes back some great memories. Missed Terry and Ray this year. Next year were doing a reunion tour! Thanks Arron for being a great captain in that wind. But with that 24-foot boat it was smooth sailing all morning....

Our wives said they were done with anything connected to fishing or cooking for a while. We will be there though for the tourney with bells on!!!
