Went on a scouting trip this afternoon. Tried two new spots and four that i usaually fish. Two of the regular spots produced the other two didnt. The new spots that i fished produced the most fish. All brush piles, with the magic depth of 15ft. I love finding new spots that produce. Fished strictly with jigs this evening, no minnows. So cannot give a report on the minnow bite. Jigs were working just fine. Also did a little bass fishing just before dark and landed a limit with a 6lb kicker. Kept a few crappie for sunday. Pics below

Thanks everyone. The crappie have all but vacated the shallows and have moved out to feed,which is weird because not all have spawned out, im assuming the cooler weather is a major factor. Now is a great time to get out on the lake before the summer heat sets in and the lakes fill up with even more pleasure boaters.
