 wanting to take a trip

I wanna take a trip on the 31st that weekend to the coast, to do some fishing from a beach or pier does anybody have any suggestions? Some place where there is a bunch of spots and where me and my girlfriend and buddies can catch some nice fish. I've been to corpus last summer and just caught a bunch of small ones and that's about all I know about fishing down there. any suggestions or tips I would really appreciate the help.

Go to the Pleasure Island pier across the river from Port Arthur.
