I like jigs, let em sit, twitch it a little then reel in a little and repeat. Black/blue is tried and true, but also check out some green pumpkin or crawfish type colors

Small Floating Rapala Minnows, Rebel Crickhopper, in-line spinners, 2"-3" grubs on jigheads and other small soft plastics, etc.. Soft plastics on a jigheads are probably gonna catch the most fish. I like Kalin's Lunker Grubs. 3" for black and/or white bass; 4" & 5" for black bass. Yum Wooly grubs, beavertails, hawgtails. 2"-3" tubes. LFT Baby Shad. 1"-3" craw replicas. I fish the jigheads inside the tubes. All other plastics I thread on the jighead.

For more multi species gear, Cabelas.com is a little bit better than Basspro.com and the big box stores carry more multi species gear. If it's just LMB (large mouth bass) you want, hard to go wrong with tacklewarehouse.com. Academy is ok, but is slipping. If you have a Gander Mountain around, give it a try. They have some weird sales that you can capitolize on and they have a ton of selection this time of year.
