Was fishing Monday and saw alot of crater like beds honeycombing the bank. Anyone know what they are? They look alot like the tilapia beds on Squaw Creek, but didnt think Athens had tilapia. My guess was blugill beds but not sure, just curious.

Bluegill for sure always seem to make deeper bowl beds

One of the ponds I fish has them looking like honeycomb, those bluegill will stack up, it looked like a bombing range.

Getcha a Black Dog Baits Shell Cracker, some 80 pound braid and a stout rod. Fish it around those bream bedding areas and hang on! The bass will absolutely crush that big ol' bait. Fish it on top like a spook.
