just found out that 2 of the victims were friends of my relatives. She lost her husband and mother, and she is in ICU with the "vast majority" of her bones in her body broken.

Definitely a wild evening. My son and I (FishingFreak) fished it as well. I tend to be a little more cautious when I am responsible for his safety as well as mine, so we never got too far from the launch. We headed in when the thunder seemed to be getting close, I think we were about the second boat off the lake. Hung around and waited for others as it rolled in, were worried about those still out. I work part time for the EMS system in Hood County, we were all called in. Spent the rest of the night working an ambulance. I have worked or volunteered as an EMT for years, definitely the worst mass casualty scene I have ever worked. Will spare everyone the details, but there are a lot of homeless, hurting, or grieving folks in Hood County today.
I am very impressed of the way the community has responded to everyone's needs. Makes me proud to live here.

Glad everything is OK for you. I pray for those that lost there lives, loved ones, or property. Mother Nature can be very cruel and evil, heed her signs, she'll never change.

Holy crud!!! Man I am glad you guys made it out. You know I always thought noodling was as extreme as it gets! You guys get my vote on the big brass ones this year. INCREDIBLE!!! Think you guys have just stumbled onto a new extreme sport....Tournament fishing in a cyclone! Hope all is good down there, and god bless all in this tough time.
When and if they do get my guns...they will most definitely be hot and empty. Vera's PB=45.17 Jasons PB=76.94
