Does dunlap have a bunch of pleasure boaters during the week like it does on the weekend?

Yesterday, the wave-makers didn't show up until about 3:00 in the afternoon.

With the size of that lake it doesn't take but a couple to make you're fishing life miserable. hammer

Just one more cast!

Wake boarders were on the lake today at 11.

Found a stretch of water where the blue gill are spawning and some huge bass are swimming back and forth down the area. Bass would not hit anything.

Those MasterCraft boats are a major distraction, especially the ones with the naked girls.
HOWEVER, the waves themselves can actually stimulate the fish into biting. At least that's the sense I got, a few times.

Unfortunately, it will probably only get worse because summer is fast approaching!

I am headed out there Monday morning. Anyone who is a regular have water clarity report or what colors they are hitting? I am taking a new fisherman and want to try and make it a good trip for him. Thanks for any advice.

clear water mostly. a little stained towards the dam. Then....at 10am the wake boats come out and it's cabbage soup.

can't go wrong with green pumpkin soft plastics.

Weighed in 16.6 pounds on the lunkerhunters Saturday nighter only to come up with a second 19.11 won it . As far as ski boats go a lot of them run with there ballast open that is illegal on Dunlap and Mcqeeney call tpwd they will come out and fine them crack down on the nonsense . One boat came next to with a skier ballast wise open 2 ft of water over the bow and I have a deep hull with tall gunnel it was bullish** .
