Every now and then you would hear the news about a Gator being caught or seen usually in south or east Bexar Co. eeks The last one I heard about was a 9 footer that was taken off of the San Antonio River in south Bexar Co. hmmm The Gator was trapped and released at a different non populated area. This was two years ago. coolio

I have seen quite a few while hog hunting south of SA on several different properties. Most were in tanks. Always had to make sure dogs were ok while they were getting a drink of water.

Seen them at Calaveras Lake a couple of year ago. Saw them cruising into the coves late at night.

My wife helped pull one out of the SA river and relocate it while we were stationed in SA. I fished and waded that river quite a bit and plan to still in the future. Been chest high wading across it. It's always an adventure.

My brother in law caught one when we were fishing the salado off 410 by nacadoges back in the late 70's early 80's. That was when the pet stores were also allowed to sell camen.

I wonder if you shot one while fishing. would you get in trouble for killing it?
