Would like to try it out tomorrow morning at Weatherford Lake. Does anyone have any general tips for what is working right now and what depths I should target? Or if anyone fishes Weatherford and has specific tips that would be awesome also. Thanks!

I would try around shallow cover you can find, Rocks, laydowns, docks. Most of the Bass should be in a post spawn pattern. Try a squarebill in a shad or perch pattern.

+1 on the squarebill and try a spinnerbait.
Native OK...Texan by choice.

Need to be flexible. Try all depths to 10 feet. Might also want to try plastics on Carolina or Texas rig. Use scented baits. Be willing to fish slower than slow if nothing else is working.

When I lived in Weatherford and fished Lake Weatherford I always did great in a KVD 1.5 silent squarebill in sexy shad bouncing off the Rocks of the damn on the right side of the lake. that and throwing a senko or a chartruese spinnerbait up under the docks of the houses on the far side of the lake. Just what worked for me.

Well? How'd it go? I hope you managed to get off the lake before the weather hit...
