I am heading down to the Big A this weekend. Curious if the Box Canyon ramp is open and in good condition?
Any help would be appreciated!!!

Good Luck this weekend. The PBOBI is there and there is only 3 ramps open. There are 300 boats in this tournamnet. Most of us will be launching at Deiablo

Permian Basin Oilmans Bass Invitational. Its a big Oilfield Tournament for Make A Wish foundation. They are going to limit parking for non tournament boaters. Your best bet will be to launch at 454 or Rough Canyon. Yes its a BIG tournament.

It's just my opinion, but I think there is something wrong about the idea of limiting parking and therefore the launching for a tournament when there are so few options for the recreational fisherman to launch at Amistad. It's bad for the ongoing access after the tournament. Recreational fishermen spend more dollars in the local economy in the end than tournaments. Again that's just my opinion.

Two ramps open for Tournaments. Options - 30 Mile drive to Rough Canyon or Diablo East. Spur 454 is off limits to Tournaments..

Don't know where you could. Ramp closed everything is cliffs or deep drop offs.
