Hi guys! I'm on a mission to get me a flathead and was wondering about submerged vegetation. The spot I'm looking at seems promising but there does seem to be some kind of vegetation down there. I'm fishing from the bank with 3 way swivels and long weight leader and shorter hook leader. I'll be using live perch and fresh shad. Any ideas and thoughts on the matter would be appreciated...

Steve
