Tiger nuts. There is no perfect absolute "best bait" for every situation, but tigers come pretty close to being that. No specific flavor, but Tigers just seem to have the uncanny ability to attract and catch carp and buffalo more so than any other bait i've ever encountered. Sure range cubes, boilies, and maize may produce well, but i've never seen fish take a liking to an angler's offering more than a tiger nut. It's probably the best carp attractor out there, and while you can't use them in large amounts, supplementing them into your baiting approach and using them as hook baits will without a doubt put more and larger fish on the bank in the long run. They aren't bright colored, oddly shaped, or unnatural, so the fish seem to take them as confidently as they do naturals. I won't call it the end all cure all of carp baits, nor would I want to only use tiger nuts for the rest of my angling life, but i'm happy to use them as an integral part of my fishing.

hahaha you've opened a can of worms for all the joke possibilities this thread could have lol

Joking aside any ester based flavor in about 1-2 capfuls per 3oz of water for hookbaits. My favorites are in Rod Hutchinson Megaspice, but I have a couple more jars with assorted flavored tigers that all catch well. Megaspice seems to be one of those magic flavors though, I pair it with(why am I even giving this away) a single piece of plastic corn flavored with a half and half mix of hutchinson pineapple supreme and savay cream. Either the tiger and artificial or megaspice maize with the same flavor artificial is what has accounted for a ton of fish for me in the past several months. That's always on one of my rods unless I have some odd instance where the fish are honed in on something else.

Nope. Go to scorpion tackle or american carp gear. You can also visit rod hutchinson web site.
