It's the advisory for "All Texas Coastal Waters" that's so surprising. Catch and release is all I can say.

I watched a thread on mercury once before. The research found greatly varying levels of mercury between fish of the same species and size. Most fish had little to no mercury but the advisory is written with an abundance of safety assuming every fish you took and ate we're of the few that contain high levels
