Do not follow google maps to shoestring! There is a sign out front. If you're coming from wills point the entrance is on your right just before you get to the holiday entrance.

Hey Guys, in the effort to save time at Registration, please print your forms of the website, Texasstriper.com and have those completed so we can get through registration in a timely matter. Also, give yourself time to stop at gate and fill out the vehicle form. Thanks, Alan

Just spoke with Donna the park Mgr, the front gate will be opened at 5am for this tournament. She said to please have your $5 exact change to put in the envelope as no change will be available that early, the $5 does not apply to park pass holders but the envelope still needs to be filled out at the honor box.

Well, I stunk it up on the Tawak tourney. No pre-fishing, no talking to anyone before the tourney, nothing other than a day of going fishing  I caught fish but nothing that would do anything other than just embarrass me at the weigh in. My kids were staying 1.5 hrs away so I decided to skip the weigh in and go pick up the boogers. Not sure how things turned out but I hope everyone made it in safe and had a good turnout in the end.

Results will be posted. The guys that post results also fish. They have to get home, clean up there stuff and rest. Then they will post the results.

Can't say enough on how well put together this tournament was. We really enjoyed it. Very WELL DONE  Met some of the nicest people off this section of the forum - whose post I read often  Here are a couple of pics:

TSA and all live baiters out there... RSR lures is now offering live bait weights...   They are being offered in 1 1/2 oz and 2 oz. Stripershack and I have been making a similar weight for years. Here are the advantages... 1. Slim design cuts thru the water creating less drag meaning you can use a lighter weight. 2. Powder paint is used as an attractant. 3. Split rings on both ends gives your bait more action. 4. Swivel minimizes line twist when fighting that big ole fish. Offered at .90 each...
