#20 suffix 832 braid, Inviz-X leader in #8-12 depening on technique. Joined with a uni-uni knot. Nothing else matters.

Also be sure to back spool with some cheap mono in like #15 or you'll get braid slip. Backs pool about 1/3 of the spool. You flouro leader should be so that the knot is in-between the reel and first guide.

I throw it on a baitcast with a medium rod and 15lb seagar invisx. It is my go to bait for any situation.

I like to use 12-20 lb braid tied to 10 ft leader of 15-20 lb fluorocarbon using a triple surgeons knot, works great!

30 lb power pro, 20 lb invisx.

The light stuff works great in open water, but for boat docks and heavy timber, it is just asking for heartbreak.

Trial and error brought me to this combo. I still get tickled listening to all they guys talk about getting broke off fishing shakeyheads. Funny, I haven't broke off a single fish in the last 3 1/2 years since I went to this combo.

Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

15 power pro to 10-15 invisx (double-uni knot) depending on the lake.
