Hey bass fishing fans, check out the below video to see the exact setup I use for lightweight texas rig fishing. There are many lakes that still have large numbers of spawning bass and the texas rig is the perfect lure for catching these fish. I like to cast this lure in 2-5 ft around shallow stumps and grass and slowly drag and hop the bait back to the boat. In thick cover I like to peg my sinker while in sparse cover I like an unpegged weight. For the best spawning bass action look for wind protected pockets that have a hard bottom. Make sure to cast your tx rig to stumps, sandy spots, or other cover that may have spawning bass nearby. Thanks for watching and for all of the great comments!

It works great, any braid from 12-20 lb tied to a leader of 15-20 flouro is my favorite setup.
