Was talking to a tackle maker earlier today and he mentioned that is one of his slowest selling colors. Personally I love that color. Actually would love a motor oil colored bait with red, black and copper flake. Gonna build a jig in that color soon as well. I also would love to see the version I mentioned with some of the glimmer effect in it too. I like em! 
You don't always need a boat..
But gosh darn it, sure helps!

I havent used them much, but i have several buddies who swear by the 10" motor oil power worm. Especially at Falcon...
go big or go home.

Mark I can make up some for you this weekend. Stick bait, U-Tail worm or brush hog bait? Do you envision a light or medium Motor Oil tone? Small, medium or large on the Red & Black flake? I could substitute small or medium holographic flake in a Silver or Gold color for the glimmer effect.

My Dad used to buy us 100 count Motor Oil Metalflake gator tail worms from Smittys in Dallas...We would burn through that bag in a weekend at Fork back in the hay day!!! +1 - good Fall color.

I have a lake house on the rock creek end of pk and caught many bass on motor oil and tons of other colors..... its been almost 3 years since I've fished it because of the lake level
