You will definitely want to widen the axles so the wheels stick out further. That thing will flip on the slightest angle! I know from experience lol

All those rods sticking out in all directions will catch any and all limbs and brush in your path.

I have the same wagon and Widened my axles about 6 " (3" on each side) and it helps ALOT! thumb I just bought some 4" bolts close to axle diameter (think I got a metric size) and had a buddy butt weld them to end of axle.

I also screwed all the corners together with some larger self tapping screws to sturdy it up.

I have no welding buddies lol. Bound to be better than carrying all that around by hand as is.

It'll flip easy. theres gotta be someone on here in your area who welds. ( my buddy had to sneak welded it on lunch break at work or I'd get him to do yours) noidea

never thought about it being overly top heavy....I've been thinking about a cart for a while. Might be easy to convert a cart designed for a riding mower....that'd be wider, turn sharper too (just 2 wheels).

It might just depend on where you fish the most....I go to some spots where this would be perfect....and a few spots where this would be way harder than just making a couple trips with gear.

If you want to widen the wheels just get the right diameter all thread at lowes or Home Depot and some nuts and washers. It'll work just fine. I made my kayak cart out of it and its great.
