Going to try a single hook dropped in a tree top weighted with a 5lb weight for flatheads. Not sure of the best way to rig my hook though. Was thinking weight on the end with a 3 way swivel about a foot up from the bottom, 6 inch staging with a big perch on a eagle claw 7alt sea circle. Bungee cord on connected to a big limb. Gona work?

Lol well my motor is in peices right now so ill be stuck till I get ny parts. My stepdad is always wanting to try new things. Fished a trotline tournament last wknd and the guy that beat me and won puts two hook drop lines in the middle of brushpiles. Thought id try with a single hook. Gona try to go tomarrow and grab one, feeling empty wout my boat though.
