Are there any beach access rd that you won't need 4wd. I don't want to sink my new truck.

We fish under the bridge and don't have much trouble....just watch where you are driving....we usually exit on the Surfside side of the bridge on the north side of the road or we have driven the distance from Surfside to the bridge area. Galveston side of the bridge has some decent roads. Worse sand is down at Quintana usually....we have driven 2WD F150s and a Honda Accord and have not gotten stuck yet.....

All depends on how the beach is, ive driven cars all the way down the beach one week and buried my 4wd the next. Most times youll have no trouble though. I dont know of any access roads.

I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

Carry a bucket for water. I got stuck one time and poured water to pack the sand. It worked pretty well just don't wait until you're too stuck.
