Was talking to a tackle maker earlier today and he mentioned that is one of his slowest selling colors. Personally I love that color. Actually would love a motor oil colored bait with red, black and copper flake. Gonna build a jig in that color soon as well. I also would love to see the version I mentioned with some of the glimmer effect in it too.

i love it... bought power worm motor oil red flake just a few days ago 10 inch worm and hey were nailing it on a sloooow C rig in 25 feet of water

My Dad used to buy us 100 count Motor Oil Metalflake gator tail worms from Smittys in Dallas...We would burn through that bag in a weekend at Fork back in the hay day!!!

I love it in deep water. If Zipper would make a motor oil/red flake dropshot worm, I'd stock up.

I've always liked motor oil, haven't used it in a long time though.
We used to sell quite a bit of motor oil and motor oil red flake when we had our worm buisness.

1st color worm that wasn't white that I ever used. I honestly don't know why I don't use motor oil power worms still, they always caught fish. I

Don't know but I'm guessing most that like motor oil have had AARP stuff in the mail. Personally I haven't used that color in a long time but I will next time out.

It's a great, productive color. Awesome in deep water in clear lakes with grass.

I used to use motor oil worms all of the time. I rarely ever use a worm at all these days unless it is a Blue Fleck PowerWorm or a Megatail in Trophy Hunter.
