Not sure it if was, but yestarday on Fork it sure looked like it where I was, caught a few but was tough, but Mr Crane was getting mouth fulls every time he reached down and one area they were even flipping on to the bank by themselfs.

Sounds like it. Saw another post about Weatherford with same thing. Fun time to fish! Throw a Gandy's pink spinnerbait, and clean house!

I threw spinnerbaits, top waters, crankbaits, the only thing I could get them to hit was a baby brush hog. Went crappie fishing instead and found some MULES, caught 12 and all were 15-17 in and weighed around 1 1/2 -2 lbs each

When we were at Fork 2 weeks ago, we saw 7 Blue Herrons {Fast Freddy} on one 100 yard stretch of bank...That was a first, those birds usually don't share shore line to well. You couldn't get a square bill back without catching a shad on one of your trebles.

It was tough for me on Monday. I caught a few really nice slots using Strike King chartreuse sexy shad crankbaits on secondary points but I also caught 20 of biggest sand bass I've ever seen on Strike King 6XDs in sexy shad off a secondary point in 14 ft.
Regards, Bart
