Drove by amistad Sun 4th, couldn't belive my eyes.I have fished amistad foe the last 10 yrs,never saw it this bad.Took some pic.if u r interested click link below.

The lake is very deep - there's still a ton of water in it even though it looks pitiful. Amistad fishes better when it's low from what I hear!

In 1995 until the grass came along to surround the lake with a shore line ring the fishing was off. It only took 12 to 14 lbs. to win a tournament. The the grass came and it all changed. It had the best topwater bite of any lake.

Yes,that is true,but finding a open ramp is the problem.
