Sometimes we are out trolling and get into a school of dolphin while we are fighting fish and cleaning up it cant hurt to fish a vertical jig. You might ask how do we fish this vertical jig if no one is manning the rod? Well, simply drop it down with your rod and outrigger, as the boat is rockin and rollin it will do some jigging for you!

The same holds true for standard drifting fishing or standard bottom fishing while anchored! Put out your out rigger with your butterfly/vertical jig and you might get lucky as the boat does the jigging for you! The way we look at is is another line in the water = another opportunity to catch your trophy!
