You will break off a lot more with flouro. I learned the hard way You might break off a lot more but I know I do not. I am a big believer in anyone using what they like no matter the brand etc. Personally I have seen it too many times in my own fishing that fluoro straight up out performs mono. That is in my own fishing though. Others may have different results but again I do not see increased break offs, I see less.

Why don't we have these type of topics about mono? Oh yeah that right because it has awesome knot stregnth and is hard to break I mean if you are fishing a stain water which most of our lakes our mono is just fine

I have trouble with fluorocarbon backlashing. Any tips to help me? Spool up a little less line on your reel than you usually do. Either use line conditioner or stretch your line before your trip. Adjust your spool tension just slightly tighter than you normally do.

With the exception of a jerkbait, if it has treble hooks then you want to use mono. I like P-line CX 15lb.

Ok....I put Sunline Super FC Sniper on my jig rod....I'm a life long bass fishermen .....I normally say flouro line is not worth the trouble. I was wrong....this line is no different casting and handling than my favorite copolymer line.....it is smaller diameter and extremely sensitive. I just tied a "Trilene" knot...no breaks ....no frayed line....caught 8 this evening to 4 pounds...never re-tied....20 pound is the size I used.....I am extremely experienced with jig/soft plastic fishing guys....I could feel the difference!
25.00 for 200 yards is not so great.....but I use backing so I will be keeping this line on several outfits......
