10k on graphs- i wont but i guess it could help
20k on motor- overpriced but basically a monopoly that 3 brands set the price for
5k on power poles- if i had it i would get those
2k on trolling motor and batteries- same as motors but only two companies
43k on fiberglass, wires, and carpet with some pretty paint- you tell me, i know what i wont do

But, as said. You guys keep buying them cause in a year or two i will give you 20k less, so to that i say thank you

I've had some people in my boat that would scare me throwing a 3/4oz t-rig around those 12's. I would ring their neck for busting one up.

A bass has a brain about the size of an english pea. ....and that's a BIG bass.
Frankly, they just aren't that smart.
They react to lures the same as they always have.

What has changed is marketing.
And people are buying.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

And one more key thing you left out.

Pressure. The bass now are not the same as they were in the 70s, they are way more educated, depending on the body of water. The fish in Fork - foregettaboutit.

What's the big deal ? Some people live in a million dollar home, some live in a 40K dollar home, some drive 80K dollar cars and some drive 2K dollar cars, to each his own, if someone can afford a 75K dollar boat then more power to them.

Oh, I'm sure you are right about the price....I haven't been pricing boats in that range and don't care who owns it. The original poster was trying to make a point, and it appears a lot of folks missed what he was saying. He wasn't arguing what was a good deal, whether the $70k deal was better than any other deal. The simple fact that folks will say that $70k is a good deal for any bass boat is hilarious. I don't care if it really is better than any other comparable rigged boat, still way more than average Joe can afford or should try to justify. Also, I don't care how much someone makes or has in the bank, it is still about egos and wanting to be like a pro on weekends. Most guys can either catch fish or they can't no matter how much their boat cost.

I seriously doubt whoever that boat belongs to spent anywhere near $75k on it. Probably got a great team deal or something on it and is trying to flip it get into a new Ranger for next year. I do agree that a high dollar boat doesn't catch you anymore fish tho. It's like any other individual sport, some have talent and others don't.
