Does the bad fuel/fuel filter idea make sense being I had just had it's annual maintenence completed? Yes because you have maintenance done to the motor that's it. Do you put any fuel additive to deal with ethanol?

If its not a fuel problem might be a coil. My buddy did the same thing and blew the #2 cylinder go have it checked out you should still have warranty.

Yes, I use Stabil every fill-up. I think my last tank was from Stripes in Zapata a few weeks ago -- I've never had a problem with their gas.
