I've seen a few posts lately with folks indicating there is a dam/bridge in the Diablo that will soon (if not already) be a hazard and perhaps begin to block those launching at Rough Canyon from accessing the main lake.
I'm wondering if someone can indicate the exact location with GPS coordinates or perhaps give some indication where this is with a picture or something?
I'm headed down in a few weeks and want to both not hit it and graph it.

The dam is up on the shore and visually enters the water, you can't miss it. Still plenty under water. Someone who fished this week can post how far under the surface it is right now.

I would like to see a recent picture of the Indian Springs area up the Devil's River if anyone has one. Last time I was there the tree stump was at water level. My kids always liked to play at the springs in the summer months during the family outings.

Yeah I guess that makes sense now that I think about it. Lake is 60 feet low and I can't remember if anything near the Indian Springs area was that deep when the lake was full. I wonder if those springs are even flowing at all. I've seen it when the water was coming out pretty strong. And boy was it cold. Sure hope it rains.

I was told the Dam was 16'underwater as of Saturday. Would be better if someone confirmed though.

The Dam rumor is spreading like wildfire...It isn't a concern right now.

The Walk Lake dam had the top blasted out of it years ago so it shouldn't be a problem for awhile but the devils river dam is about 10' under the surface right now and it stretches from one side to the other. If they keep letting water out the dam will cut off use of the rough canyon boat ramp to get down to main lake.. I know this because I graphed it this morning..

The ramp will be unusable before the dam becomes a problem.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

At the rate the lake has been dropping someone could idle across it one morning then be stuck behind it trying to leave in the afternoon!
