Going to Padre Island Natl Seashore in two weeks. We will be camping/kayaking for a week and fishing both bay and gulf sides. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it is our first time there. Which rigs/lures to use? I will have a spinning setup suitable for specks or reds, and an 8wt fly rod. Thanks!

if you have a 4x4 you should go south donw the beach to Little/Bigshell areas. This is a great place in texas. Big shell is getting more popular but still pretty open and natural area.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
