I don't get why most people are scared of drop shots. That is my go to bait.

it's kinda like a pink shirt, you either got what it takes to use it properly or you don't

Has nothing to do with fear. I just prefer other techniques a lot more.

Definitely one of the easiest ways to put fish in the box.

Over the years I had to catch a "few" fish with a jig to gain confidence or just the want to throw it. I don't remember it taking any time at all to make myself like the DS. It flat out puttem in the boat real sudden like.

My experience is if I want small fish I just need to tie on a drop shot. I have tried everything and all I catch is dinks.

It catches them all. Dinks only bait is a myth made up by the tribal jig doctors.

If you can pattern fish and understand the basics of the implications weather has on the behavior of largemouth bass, then you understand why a drop shot rig is essential in any anglers arsenal. It flat out puts fish in the boat no matter what. I'm not talking about making five casts and putting it down because you don't get bit!! Go throw a drop shot in your favorite holes all day. Play with the technique and put a little confidence behind it!! You will be surprised!!!

see drop shot is what i go to when nothing else works !!!! i will throw a c rig to cover ground and when i find them i will drop shot that school and i swear in my mind i am confident i can catch every fish out of that school on drop shot... and when the fishing is tough you cant oull that drop shot out of my hand... my biggest on a drop shot is 7 lbs so i know it doent only catch sinks...
