 Lowrance HDS 7 and 5 Gen 2 Questions

Thinking of doing the HDS 7 and LSS-2 Structure Scan pkg...Can this be networked on the LSS-2 to a HDS 5, Gen 2 unit and receive all the waypoints input? Also, Is the Gen 2 units capable of running the Lakemaster chips now or just Navionics? And, heard they are faster speeds for chart refreshing with almost no delays, True?

All you need to network them is an ethernet cable run from the LSS to the 5 and you are good to go.
Don't know about that card.
Speed of the processor is way faster than gen 1.

Thanks! Thought I read something that Lowrance was also using the Lakemaster chip that Humminbird used. I could be wrong! Appreciate it, Sir!

At this point it is my understanding LakeMaster is Bird only.
