We are going on a Red Snapper charter trip next month and will be there couple days early to do some fishing on the Surfside jetty. Been doing research on how to fish the Jetty and decided to use the Berkley Gulp shrimp. Can anyone give me tips on what color and how to fish it? Thanks.

Use it on a popping cork rig w/ about 24" of mono or fluoro leader with a small jig head about 1/8 - 1/16 oz. Pop the cork about every 3-5 seconds and repeat. I like to fish about 200 yards or so from the beach and move around until I find em. you can also fish them without the cork by bouncing them off the bottom. Good luck....

+1 to Garfish. I prefer them w/o the cork in the natural shrimp color. The DOA shrimp are awesome too and come pre-rigged with weight. I like the near clear or rootbeer colors. They also make one rigged with a float too if you prefer for about $7.00.

New penny, Root beer, Pearl /Chartreuse, Molting. DOA and TKO Shrimp imitations are good too.
