They're pulling the plug on Amistad. I fished the lake for many years at 50ft low and always caught fish.
The lake is presently 60ft low and dropping. Now is the time to take pictures and find unique areas for when the water returns

Yup, its in sad shape. Was just there this past weekend, very different lake that what it was the last few years. I was there even when it was really low before but its rough right now. The few fish we caught were in rough shape and it seemed all were absorbing their eggs.

we caught plenty of fish just nothing over 6#
