When purchasing a bass boat, there are alot of things to consider. Every angler has certain thigs they want or expect from a boat. Speed, fishability, stability, floatation, quality hardware, features, handling, resale, safety and comfort to name a few. That's why after looking at the entire bass boat market I settled on Ranger. When you see the commercial that shows cutting several holes in the Ranger hull; the boat will not sink. That's gives me great piece of mind knowing that no matter what happens on a body of water, the boat is not going to sink. I also wanted a boat that's going to last for a long time and after talking with several Ranger owners who had kept their boats for 10 to 12 years, they all said they would not buy any other brand. The Ranger will hold it's value better than any other brand. Skeeter, Legend and Bass Cat all make a good boat, but they're not a Ranger.

Yes, they are all good boats. Comes down to your personal preference.

I could have bought any boat , I have had just about every boat made. Test drive them all and decide for yourself! The most important thing is take a rod, put the trolling motor down , and fish some. Have someone walk around it the back of the boat while you are fishing. This is where we spend the most time and most people never think about it.
With that being said, I bought a New Z521. It is not perfect, but it is close! And they are beautiful!!! (Like all brands now days)

Get in the boats and get a feel for them. My 1st boat was a Ranger, then I tried Triton. I am now in my 2nd Skeeter and probably stay with them. They just fit me and my way of fishing best.

Look the boats over from top to bottom. Check storage and rod lockers. Which is most user friendly. Drive them, compare and take notes. Make up your own mind for your needs

Nothing fishes like a Skeeter period, Ranger= heavy and slow, Legend does not handle rough water like they say, wettest ride I've ever been in, no boat has a fishing deck like a skeeter, low sides for easy flipping, very stable with multiple ppl on the boat, and cuts waves in big water like a razor, and I'm not sponsored, just live on Fork and hv fished them all. Skeeter is just my personal preference, fishes best for me

My 1992 Ranger 361v looked beautiful last year before sliding down the freeway without its trailer last year. I think the pristine condition was a reflection of Rangers quality. I believe they were heads above any other manufacturer in that time. I also believe several brands have stepped up in the last decade or so to enter the high end bass boat market with an emphasis on quality. Ranger no longer sits alone on the top...but it is still on the top! I bought another. Your question/post read "Ranger, Legend or Skeeter". The answer is YES!

Yep, all good boats! Buy the one you like the most.

No one can tell you what you're favorite color should be!
