 Corpus Christi Area?

I'm working in Corpus Christi and am wondering where does everyone fish around the Corpus Christi area that is not Salt water? I know I'm 3hrs from Falcon. With my work schedule I doubt I'll be able to make it down there. hard to catch a last minute guide available.
I've seen very little amount of bass boats.

Derrick,
I live in Pearland, have a house in Rayburn Country. I'm working in CC couple of days this week, lived here a couple of times, once for 13 years. Other than Lake C.C., Choke or Flacon, not much bass fishing and they are all way down. The droughts takes its tolls on tanks and small lakes and etc.
I would just wait until you get back to Rayburn.

I've been on a job here since January and hope to make it till next January. What do you do in the Corpus Area? Oilfield/Pipeline Inspector (CWI) here

coleto creek is about an hour and 15 minutes from corpus.
