This is what happens when you mix a old bored fisherman who can weld (a little) and a bunch of junk in the storage shed. I had an extra seat from when I changed out the seats on the boat, some arm rests that don't match anything, and some old square tubing left over from some old projects and an old patio umbrella that the wind bent the bottom shaft on. This was one of my brainstorms while laying in bed. Couldn't find anything like it on the net so "I just made my own" . Gimme your comments if you see anything else it needs. The goal was to have a fully self contained surf fishing chair that I could just hop in the truck and move up as the tide is coming in or going out without having to pick up anything. When ready to go, just pop out the fishing rod and umbrella and chunk it in the truck and head home. The whole thing just slides into the hitch when I am ready to go fishing. The first pictures were before I added the armrests.

It didn't take long to make..... Took longer to figure out how I wanted it arranged than it did to make it. Four cuts and four welds, along with a few holes drilled here and there and its ready for paint. I encourage you to make you one. Can't wait to give it a try in a week or two.
