How is Juniper Point on texoma? The wife and I are gonna be staying at texoma for a week in the middle of june and we are looking for an rv site where we can beach the boat close the camper and not have to worry about loading it up every night. We'd prefer to just leave it beached. Some of the ohter places were are looking at are Johnson Creek and Lakeside.

Those are about the only 3 campgrounds that i can find on recreation.gov that have shoreline sites available during the week we will be down there.

There is a place on the east side of Juniper with hookups, I saw it last week, I do not know the name, it looked clean and very nice.

Juniper is not a great place to beach your boat, because it is on the main lake. East burns run, lakeside, little mineral have protected coves to beach your boat.

Tru about juniper east...but on a south wind you'll be fine...burns run and lakeside are excellent choices as well...
Juniper puts you very far from the fish in June...lakeside is a little closer

But If it were me...in June I would pick burns run east...right next to the dam where likely will be the closest place to the best fishing...also great lakeside camp sites to beach your boat..better book it fast as they fill for the summer fast I hear
