Was a jig until I learned how to catch fish on them now I like them pretty well.

I guess my "no confidence" bait would have to be a drop shot. Tried it, didn't like it. Never really gave it much of a chance though.

Wow. Surprised at all jigs and spinnerbaits. I always have these two tied on. Mine would have to be weightless senko. I just get bored with it.

Anything slow. Bass are opportunistic feeders, generally lying in wait for the injured or unwary. I believe that most of my bites come from whipping something that looks sort of like food past their faces so fast that they have to make a split second decision. As such, I have no confidence in plastic worms, while I have great confidence in crankbaits. I know worms catch tons of fish, but not for me. I lack the patience and the confidence to drag a worm around. I would rather keep moving, casting and blasting, till I find the fish ready to attack.

Drop shot and a jerk Bait. I gave up on the jerk bait and am still trying the DS, just doesn't work well for me! Give me a TRig, CB, SB, and a jig, you don't need much else. (maybe a top water)

Umbrella rig.

...of course, I guess I'd have to actually fish one first.

Don't be surprised. [/quote]

I wish 90 percent of the guys who are consistently taking money on Grand would suddenly become scared of a jig. LOL.

Chatterbait style jigs. Regular jigs are my 100% confidence bait, weird!

Jigs...
Every fish I have ever caught on a jig has been a good solid fish....3-9 lbs...

That said, the total number of jig fish I've caught is probably less than 20 over 30 years of fishing.
