So I ran into tomasc a month or two back, he gave me a couple tips on crappie fishin, and I finally got a few chances to get out and try it. Caught these in about 45 minutes right as teh sun set last night. Most came from one tree, middle of a creek channel,4-5 feet deep on black/chart thump buddies or a smoke roadrunner.

Waco is great right now. My wife and I caught about 30 on two brush piles yesterday. I had to work last night so we didnt keep any. We will be camping at Speegleville mothers day weekend. I cant wait!!
BTW, nice catch 254!!!
