Thinking about letting the boy skip school to go fishing at Fayette this Friday. Never been there so is the fishing worth it or shall I take him to another lake?

I don't know what your other choices are but Fayette is a good choice. A couple of weeks ago we caught them pretty good at the dam on dark plastic worms.

Bet the flipping bite in the reeds is heating up.. As important as school is, unfortunately it pales in comparison to quality time with your kids.

I live here in Fayetteville and l am on the lake two or three times a week. Bring him, y'all should catch a boat load of fish. I have been catching some nice fish lately. PM and I will help you out.
