 Texas Kayak Bass Fishing Open

The first TX Kayak Bass Fishing Open will be Oct. 5, 2013 come and face off with others all across TX. This is a qualifier for the 2014 Kayak Bass Invitational. Location will be announced soon but I can tell you this. It is located to draw kayakers from Houston, Austin and the Dallas area. All information will be posted on Kayak Bass Fishing Texas site first. I will also try to create a FB page as well. Have already had a couple of sponsors step up and I think you will be happy with the prizes and cash payouts.

The Open is coming together. Most updates have been posted on FB in the Kayak Bass Fishing TX group page. FB Kayak Bass Fishing TX Location: Houston County Lake Cost: $75.00 entry fee Big Bass $10.00 Sponsors that are confirmed: - HOOK1 - Mariner Sails - Kistler Rods - Supernova Lights - Lake Fork Trophy Lures - Papa Chops' Hoping to hear from a couple of more this coming week. I plan on having all details done by Sept. 15. As of right now pre-fishing is allowed till 6pm Friday Oct. 4, 2013 and a hawg trough will be required for measuring your fish. Time will be 6:30a - 2:30p. Hope to see you guys out there.

Just got word that Wilderness Systems will be sponsoring the first place prize at the TX KBF Open with a kayak!!!!! Man cold hard cash and a new kayak.

Man this keeps getting better and better. ACK just came on board with a kayak to give away, some accessories and support behind the scenes. That's two kayaks now!!!! I wonder what's next!!!

Hey Bobby I think the wife plans to go with me to this. She will take the camera and get as many pictures of the entire event as possible, if you'll have it. I'll run it by her again and let you know. I believe the only cost will be giving her credit for any photos used.
