I am going to be in the area for about the next month or so, and would like to stay near the lake. Any one have any helpful information as to where a good place to stay would be? Thanks

The closest motel by the lake is The Bass Inn, several motels in town (Three Rivers), only about a 15/20 minute drive to the lake. Only problem is vacancy, the oil workers take the rooms for weeks at a time.

Choke Canyon lodge. Secure parking lot with boat stalls and electric. Really nice place.
