Was on the water from 630 to 11. Caught 7 fish. Three 3lbers two 4lbers one 5lber and on my last cast a 6! The 3s and 4s I caught on a ribbit frog, the 5 and 6 a watermelon red flake brush hog/ spiked. The 6 was on a bed in 4 ft of water, full of eggs still. I was right around the corner from the "other" pier. Pitching in the middle of the wood. Awesome morning! I have pics of the 6 but have no idea how to put em on here. Purtis creek is freakin awesom. Every time I've been there, I've done pretty good.

I wish I knew someone, besides the game and fish guy who was responsible, that thought getting rid of the grass was a good idea.

Pretty little lake that I've fished a couple of times, but I've not done well there. So congrats to you on a job well done!
