Another vote for " In pursuit of giant bass" by Bill Murphy. Great info, down to the smallest detail. Stuff that really works. We should keep this quiet.

I've heard about a book titled Knowing bass. Anyone know the authors name ? Also how to get ahold of it at a reasonable price ?

KNOWING BASS The Scientific Approach to Catching More Fish, Keith A. Jones. Your question concerning "reasonable price" caused me to look it up on Amazon. I had no idea the book was that expensive. I have a copy; however, do not remember where I got it. I do know I did not pay a lot for the book.
Need to get back to reading!

Mine is the fishing encyclopedia by I forget lol I lost the cover, I went through it over and over from ages 10-15 just studying and learning different species and methods that they may bite which has certainly translated to a measure of success I enjoy today haha
Its not about how deep you can fish but by how you wiggle your worm

"Fly Fishing With MacQuarrie"- Some real good old timey fly fishing short stories. "A Place On the Water" by Jerry Dennis- Newer timey fly fishing short stories.

I couldn't put Sowbelly down. And Ray Scott's autobiography is a great read as well. Really gives you insight into the history of bass fishing and how far it's come.
