Hows the hybrid fishing on bridgeport. I have never been on the lake and want to know if its worth the time

Not for beginners. Hire Keith Bunch ,he lives on the lake , btw lake is 15 ft low and has hidden rock ledges m several spots. I have fished her for yrs and still have to b careful

The fishing is worth it. As gborg said, go out with Keith. The lake is very low, and if you're not sure where to go, the rocks might get you... The old railroad trestle north of the bridge is not visible yet, but should be any day now.

Keith Bunch - Lake Bridgeport Guide Service. He can show you great areas to fish and many, many areas to stay away from due to danger. Right now, if you don't know that lake really well......you can get yourself in a mess.
Keith is an excellent guide and a heck of a nice person.

I agree call Keith a great guide and all around good guy!!
on Bridgeport 2 weeks ago and spoke with a couple of guys from the wise county park ( they worked there), they informed us that starting in May, The Tarrant Water District is planning on dropping the lake another 10 feet, to supply water to Eagle Mountain. and if / when it reaches the 25'low level, none of the ramps will be open, effectively closing the lake. Better fish it while we can ..
