 But, my client Tony Richmond broke it today with this 2.91 lb SOW!! We caught some really nice fish today!! Gave away fish to another fisherman so we could keep fishing!! I had just said, I wish someone would catch a 3lb fish out of lavon, whether out of my boat or not, it would get Lavon some attention. 2 minutes later he was hauling in this Hawg!! She is in Quarantine at BPS... I really enjoyed fishing with these guys. They were a HOOT!! When Tony caught her, we left for BPS so we could be sure she was alive and didn't lose any weight. I had a blast fishing with these two! Tony is from Kentucky, in visiting his son Tony Jr (Buzz) and family. This fish, and pretty much everything else we caught today were caught on "Blazin Raisin"!!!! Thump Buddies!!!! I love those things!!!

Well, sounds like a celebration is in order! Taking down a 23 year record, is enough for a week long trip to Mexico with the wife...Congratulations fisherman, Wylie (record setting guide), and Lane (of Thump Buddy fame.)
I thought February was the month for big fish...guess not.
I suppose I am going to have to take off that White Hot and try that Blazin Raisin. However, I am keeping that new lime colored High Noon tied up on the other rod.

A friend and I were at BPS today and I overheard an employee comment about a "big fish" out back........so of course, I have to see.....and I did. Tony Sr. and Mike even let me hold her.....she was one FINE lady.  Not only a nice fish but good people. Nice meeting you Tony Sr, Tony Jr, and Mike and congrats again on the catch. Roger (guy in Texas Longhorn hat).
