I saw thousand of shad run up the creek this afternoon and I quickly pack my stuff and ran after them. I saw them popping out of the water like boiling water. I have never seen shad boiling in the creek before so I watch them for awhile. At the end the shad give me these pretty babies to go home with.

I'm taking three friends fishing for hybrids tomorrow and hopefully catching some. I will report when I'm done. Feel free to say hi if you see me, I'll be wearing a light blue shirt with a chest pocket.

Ok......

I have read this thread for some time. Live right next to the creek closer to the lake. Have to try in the am. I've stopped by the bike path and it seems like the sardines are on land

Yes...it was packed as the thread states. People casting over each other. Litter everywhere.

Prefer peaceful fishing spots.

My son and I always take a bag to pick up trash. As we were picking it up a guy tosses trash in the creek. Lame.

Headed out this am.

Sand bass to show size of hybrids and sandbass..
This morning 4am to 630am.kept seven large sandbass and two hybrids ,wanted to get in parking lot and leave before all the people came..started at bike park and went south..found shad-- found hybrids and big sandbass..caught alot of under sized hybrids and released them all..all fish caught on LIVE small shad..find shad and the hybrids will be in the area..shad are shallow..hybrids deep..find holes running shallow to deep..
I stepped off in deep hole and thought I was going to drown..
My rope tied around my waist saved my azzzz.waders filled up quick..whewwwww!
