Last time I bought braided line, PowerPro was what everyone said was best. I need some braid for my spinning gear and am wondering which brand of braid gets the top vote today?????

Anyone feel like it affects the bite going to braid?

Anyone feel like it affects the bite going to braid? I don't think so, but it has kept me from throwing my spinning gear in the lake from the frustration of mono tangling and spilling off my spool.

PowerPro is the way to go IMO. Should be alright with 10-20 lb.

Power Pro and Spider Wire stealth. I like the both, but probably the stealth more. I use 30 lb with a 20 lb flouro leader.
Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!

832 10 lb w/ 8 lb flour leader. Hard to train myself to not be a wuss on hooksets and to trust my knots and the line.
Haven't lost a fish to line/knot failures, have lost fish to a poor hookset.

Anyone feel like it affects the bite going to braid? Yes, fish can see it better, so use a fluorocarbon leader, connected with double Uni knots.
