You can do it its not easy and by how many times you have tried before to quit you know that. I just hit my one year of quit dipping and its been a lone year and I still think about it but I will never go back. Everytime I think about starting again I look at my daughter and realize there are far better things to put into my body rather than a chemical that overpowers US to the point that it does. Its amazing how dipping or smoking controls your mind the nicotine is a killer but once you get that out of your system you have to learn how to deal with wanting something to do. You can do it. Check in here everyday if you have to.

I failed again... almost think I can never quit. It's like I don't know how to be "normal" and can't accept the fact that to quit I can NEVER have another cigarette again. Maybe I should try Chantix despite all the crazy side effects. I'm just so sick and tired of failing.

Sorry for your situation . . . . .

Everyone has their own end point where they just put them down - I stopped smoking many, many times until my end point. Thankfully I have not put one to my lips since, and one of the decision points is that I know if I smoke just one - it will lead to a pack and then a carton.

You might want to examine your use of can't and NEVER. If you think you can't - you're probably right.

Lesser people than you have stopped smoking - it's all between your ears.

I think I'm finally at that end point. I'm at it again and it's been 14 days and I'm as confident as ever this will be the quit attempt that lasts forever.

Stop the nonsense and kick it!

Long-term, your health and wallet will appreciate ya!

You CAN do it, many before you have, so what's your excuse?

Best of luck Peytonator! thumb

After 14 days without it'll be a conscious choice on your part to start up again.

Please don't make that choice.

Peytonator, I know how you feel. I failed so many times it started to make me feel like less of a man. Sometimes, I think thats what it takes to make us ready to give it up for good. I quit Copenhagen December 15 and haven't looked back. You CAN do it and quit telling yourself you can't. And by the way, quitting is a great excuse eat like a flippin mule. Eat all you want and what you want. Stay busy and stay positive. We're here for you.

LET’S GO BRANDON!!!

You're definitely right about that, that's the point I'm at now.

As of today I'm 22 days smoke freebanana Still get an intense craving here and there but it has gotten alot easier and I'm the most confident I've been yet that I'm done for good!

Don't knock over that stack - great work so far. After 6 weeks you've got it nailed..

The cravings will continue but they will lessen and be easier to resist. After 3.5 years I who/old still kill for a butt some times but no - I'll settle for the smoking dreams & being smoke-free.......

Keep on keeping on!
