This slime sticks to any thing. Soft plastics too. Head of bait comes back covered in green slime.

No such thing as "skunk moss" that I am aware of. The green slimy stuff is definitely filamentous algae. The stuff that smells like a skunk is typically decaying coontail.

If you keep the bait on top it will not stick to it. Atleast that is the experience I have with it. A few of our good spring spots have it on them every year. You just have to keep the tip of the senko from getting down to low. If it gets around the head of it it will stick. Same thing with the frog you cant let it sink you have to be reeling when it hits the water.

It's floating slime on Pines. Wind blows it around. It was up on the bank prior to the water rising, now it's just floating around.

On the Rocky lakes you can fish above it. Broken Bow has it out deep on the bottom. Beaver Lake had some a few weeks ago in 20-30'.
